A: Your initial consultation is complimentary. At that time, we’ll walk you through our fee structure, tailored to your project’s scope and needs.


Q: What should I expect during the first appointment?
A: Our initial in-home visit lasts about 60–90 minutes. We’ll tour your space, discuss your style, functional needs, and any pieces you’d like to incorporate. We also evaluate lighting, layout, and how each room fits into your lifestyle.


Q: How do I determine a budget for my project?
A: Your budget is based on your goals. We’ll present a range of options to show how we can create a space that’s tailored to your style and investment level.


Q: Is there a minimum or maximum project size?
A: We’re here to help whether you need a single room refresh or a full-home transformation.


Q: Can you incorporate my existing furniture or décor?
A: Absolutely! We’re happy to build your new design around pieces you love and want to keep.


Q: Will we shop together at retail stores?
A: No need! Through our Decorating Den Interiors network, we have exclusive access to hundreds of top-quality vendors and manufacturers—offering a wider selection than typical retail stores, often at better value.


Q: How long does the process take?
A: Timelines vary depending on selections and scope. Once your design is finalized, most projects are completed within 4 to 24 weeks.


Q: Are items returnable?
A: Some items may be returnable, though restocking and shipping fees may apply. That said, with a thorough design plan in place, our clients are typically thrilled with the final result.


Q: Can I just get a plan and shop on my own?
A: Yes! We offer design-only services for a fee, which we’ll determine based on your project’s scale during our initial consultation.
